Women Sewing & Self-Employment Training Program
Objectives:
- To empower women through skill development
- To provide sustainable livelihood opportunities
- To support economically weaker women in becoming self-reliant
- To promote home-based employment in rural and urban areas
Target Beneficiaries:
- Economically weaker women
- Widows / deserted women
- Women aged 18–45 years
- Rural and slum area residents
Training Duration:
- 6 Months (180 Days)
Training Modules:
- Introduction to Sewing Machine
- Measurement & Fabric Cutting Techniques
- Stitching of Blouse, Petticoat, Salwar Suit
- Kids Garments Stitching
- Alteration & Finishing (Fall Pico, etc.)
- Basic Boutique & Fashion Designing
- Customer Handling & Small Business Skills Training Center
- At Panchayat / Ward level
- Batch size: 20–25 women
Post-Training Support:
- Certificate of Completion
- Assistance in starting home-based work
- Linkage with boutiques / local markets
CSR & Government Linkages:
- CSR funding partnerships
- Convergence with Skill Development Schemes
- Formation of Self Help Groups (SHGs)
